Will anybody answer when it goes wrong at night?

The line at Afterglow Plumbing & Heating Limited is open 24/7, day and night, and same day emergency plumbing is available throughout Birmingham and Solihull. Burst pipes, leaks, a boiler that has stopped and no hot water are the usual calls.

The first job is yours: turn the stop tap off. It is usually under the kitchen sink, by the meter, or in a box outside. Then keep away from any fitting fed by the damaged pipe, and catch what you can in towels and buckets.

Can any plumber fix a boiler?
